Arguably the best BJM disc, that's kind of irrevlent here since they
are already in the tunefilter Hall of Fame. Ten reasons why:
10 - their mastery of "sacred musical geometry"
9 - the wild sitar on this CD
8 - they started a riot at their Detroit show on the 97 tour
7 - Joel - "who plays tambourine, smokes incessantly, and has a propensity
for flicking lit cigarettes at his audience"
6 - coolest guitar collection you'll ever see on one stage
5 - they show up to press interviews with four guitars, a tambourine,
a harmonica, and a 12-pack of Miller High Life
4 - they offered to give an Elektra A&R rep a ride to a show and
then showed up on a bicycle
3 - their CD is "recorded live @ our house for a total cost of $17.36"
2 - they started a riot in a room full of record company scouts at
the Viper Room (Los Angeles) in September, 1996
1 - Anton telling a bloke in the audience at a Berkeley show who they
named "Superman" that he had a kryptonite cock-ring and was going to
fuck him in the ass.
