Our trips to Europe are becoming routine by now - read a couple of
magazines while chasing the bag of peanuts with a cold beer. Switch
to wine during dinner and follow it up with a nice after dinner drink.
By now the buzz is on, the movie has started and we slip out the mini-disc,
pop in Sensual Sensual (on repeat), close our eyes and let the music
lull us gently to sleep until we land in Amsterdam.
Think Deep Forest with the singing children replaced with flamenco
guitar and moaning Muslim chants. Catch hints of Enigma and perhaps
a fleeting touch of Peter Gabriel's Last Temptation of Christ (but more
positive). It's just what's needed to sooth the rage of a cramped eight
hour plane ride in coach.
